Concealers, the quick fix to beauty

August 17, 2017

Concealers are the easiest way to give yourself that ‘I’ve finally woken up’ feeling. They can be used in a variety of ways to achieve that pulled together look to make you look lovely and presentable. Some days a concealer is all you need to pull your make up together. A bit of powder, blusher and eye makeup and you are ready to go out. There can be days that you use a concealer in a more precise way for that special occasion or just every day as part of your daily make up routine. With our Foundation Blender concealer is so easy and quick to apply. Under the eye with the pointy tip and flat side but also wherever you like to conceal a spot or blemish, the Foundation Blender is there to help with getting that flawless face and perfect complexion. The Foundation Blender works best with liquid concealer but also works with concealer sticks. To set the concealer with powder you can either use the Foundation Blender or a brush.

Now to the question whether you would need an expensive concealer. That is of course a question of budget and whether you would like to use a more luxurious product. Whether you would want a waterproof product or a concealer that has an SPF.  Luxury concealers that are amazing are Estee Lauders Double Wear concealers, Chanel’s Correcteur Perfection, Dior’s Diorskin and Fix concealer range, Mac’s Studio range. All top range concealers but the high street has come up with an amazing selection that does the job just as well. Rimmels Match Perfection is a fantastic concealer and highlighter two in one product. It contains vitamin C & E and wears up to 10 to 13 hours. Collection Lasting Perfection concealer is super easy to use but has not that much colour selection. Maybelline Fit Me concealer is a favourite but not that big of a colour selection and the Maybelline Eraser Eye concealer is very effective as it diminishes puffiness. All these concealers are fantastic to use together with the Foundation Blender.

To finish any concealer make up routine, it can be very effective to use a touch of highlighter. Cult product Touch Éclat by Yves Saint Laurent is fantastic but there are other good options too. Try Maybelline Dream Lumi Touch Highlighting Concealer, Rimmel’s Match Perfection, Mac’s Prep and Prime highlighter. All these products work amazing with our Foundation Blender. A sharp pointy tip to work its magic round the eye and nose area and the flat side to bounce and conceal away on the top of the cheek area. Follow up with a light setting powder which can also be applied with our Foundation Blender. Watch how Eve Pamba does this here:

Truly an all round makeup sponge with a shape that does it all.
